Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) | Digital Kit of Parts (KoP)

Description: Engaged with an industry leading design team for the definition of digital engineering strategies for the development of a digital Kit of Parts library (later released as the “Pattern Book” digital content), based on standardised designs, for the design development and construction of new school facilities and infrastructure. Resulting in measurable efficiency gains and improved asset lifecycle management.
Several technologies are leveraged to achieve the project goals including the definition and implementation of:

• A Common Data Environment (CDE) for the management of the digital content / BIM models.
• An integrated project BIM Management platform for the delivery of Project Information Requirements and Digital Execution Planning standards.
• Clear project scope definition within the BIM Management Platform.
• Integrated processes for Scope and BIM model data validation.
• A robust system for governance and revision control of all BIM models and associated documentation.
