Snowy Hydro 2.0

Description: Provided digital engineering advisory services for the Design Joint Venture (DJV) project establishment. Implementation of the Common Data Environment (CDE) the integration of digital engineering data capture, storage, recording and classification and delivery via an Integrated BIM-Geospatial-Data Asset Information Model (Digital Twin).

Project Overview: Snowy Hydro 2.0 is a large pumped-hydro expansion of the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Scheme, designed to enhance the grid’s stability and provide on-demand renewable energy storage. The project involves linking the existing Tantangara and Talbingo reservoirs with 27 km of tunnels and a new underground power station. This will allow for the recycling of water between the reservoirs to generate electricity when needed.
